The Building—Approvals & Construction
Once you have agreed on the price to build your new home, there are a couple of more steps before ground is broken on your block:
- Site Survey & Council Approvals: Site surveys, soil testing and slab design are essential before work can begin. After this, we approach the local government authority on your behalf to submit plans and information about your home. Once in council, the process generally takes between four to six weeks before approval is given.
- Construction: The exciting step of building begins where you see 2D plans being turned into your new home. This is where you will really add your flare with your choice of paint, tiles, countertops, and other fixtures and fittings. Depending on weather and material availability, your home will be ready to move into in about 22 weeks.
