The Foundation—Design & Pricing

Thank you for considering Robinson & Fuller Homes in Dubbo to trust to build your next new home. We value clear communication with our clients, so we'd like to share our home building process:

  • Design: You are welcome to choose from one of our many home designs from the Classic, Homestead, and Estate range. Or we would be delighted to design a custom home to your specifications.

  • Preliminary Pricing: Once the design is complete, we’ll get to work on estimating labour and materials and then present you with a quote so you can measure it against your budget. Once this is done, contracts are signed.

The Building—Approvals & Construction

Once you have agreed on the price to build your new home, there are a couple of more steps before ground is broken on your block:

  • Site Survey & Council Approvals: Site surveys, soil testing and slab design are essential before work can begin. After this, we approach the local government authority on your behalf to submit plans and information about your home. Once in council, the process generally takes between four to six weeks before approval is given.

  • Construction: The exciting step of building begins where you see 2D plans being turned into your new home. This is where you will really add your flare with your choice of paint, tiles, countertops, and other fixtures and fittings. Depending on weather and material availability, your home will be ready to move into in about 22 weeks.
